No, her math is correct, the next one will be a partial solar eclipse, not a total like this one, but it's supposed to be across Southern Texas.

When you put in the context of -
A 70 mile wide circle of "darkness" will travel from the Oregon coast to the South Carolina coast in about 01:10 (1 hour and 10 minutes)
Some of the excitement changes to despair. Certainly want to make sure you got all your ducks in a row ahead of time to try and "capture the moment" because it will fly by in real time.
But for most it will be like a cloud passing over quickly but where you'll be able to see a few stars in the middle of the day. -
The eclipse should be on a Saturday or Sunday.
