Hi guys, I’m curious as to what the average owner operator pays in certain areas?
    Health insurance for a family?
    1million$ in insurance cost?
    Plates?
Questions may be dumb but I’m just curious. I have been in touch with a lady that will put me to work with my own truck but I wonder if it’s worth getting into being I hate what I’m doing now with a passion!

I can see your grave stone now..."Here lies a man that wishes he had more time to do the things he hated".

I assume you had fun trolling with a question like that...I enjoyed responding too!

Use the search function. Lack of information makes this a guessing game.

The OP asked a serious question. It deserves a serious answer. Save the trolling and snarky responses for some other forum.

So experience with a CDL and the state OP resides in matter. But ok. The insurance is gonna run 20k for the first year. Again family size and state make a difference. 1500 a month for a family of 5.
How much you make is impossible to estimate without knowing what type of equipment or state.......OTR/Local but since we are guessing 225k a year

I agree serious questions deserve serious response but there are 48 possiblity the OP can live in and the experience factor matters as well. Family size and earning potential........the lack of information from the OP makes this impossible to answer seriously

Insurance rates are all over the place depending on where you live and your driving record Etc.

You can only get an accurate idea by calling for insurance rates yourself.

Call your state DMV and find out what the tag will cost.

Can't help you with health insurance cost.

That’s one of the most ridiculous reply’s. A forum is not designed to be used as a dictionary, it is a place that people can talk to each other and get responses to their questions.

nobody can answer to his SEROIUS questions. We don't know where he lives, what he drives, in what states he operates, what kind of driving record he has, ... .
