Sven's cow died. He heard about a guy who had a cow for sale over in Nordakota, so he got in his truck and drove over there.

When he gets to the farm in Nordakota, the farmer shows him the cow he's got for sale. Sven says, Can I try it out? The farmer says, Sure.

So Sven kneels down by the cow and puts a milk pail under her and pulls an udder. The cow farts. Sven looks at the farmer, who shrugs, and so Sven keeps pulling on the udders and the cow gives really good milk. Sven tells the guy he'll buy her, loads her up, and heads home.

The next day Ole comes by Sven's place and sees the new cow. Ole says, Oh, ya got a new cow! Can I try it out? Sven says, Sure.

Ole kneels down and pulls an udder. The cow farts. Ole says, You got dis here cow in Nordakota, dintcha? Sven is surprised, since he hadn't even told Ole his other cow died, let alone that he'd gone to Nordakota to get the new one.

Sven says, Yeah, how'd you know that? Ole says, My wife is from Nordakota.

A few years ago I was doing a highline row clearing job and needed an 8 moved about 10 miles on a dirt county road. It had a 6 or 8 ton marked bridge across a small creek. The bridge was short and I had checked it out, so when Itwas loaded I just told the haul truck driver to follow me, and lead out inthe pickup. I ran off and left him, crossed the bridge and went to the top of the hill out of sight and waited. I got out and walked to where I could see the bridge. He pulled up and stopped, kept trying me to answer the company radio. He finally backed back up the hill then came back down as fast as he could. to cross it. I told him he would have been much better off idiling across. lol
