It will last a long time. Sometimes plans don’t always turn out the way you think they will. Best of luck.

Imagine the time I could save flying around in stealth mode, swooping in in the middle of the night, etc... If I could buy a bag of Kentuckians at Kroger for $5.00. All my dreams would be realized.

Of course, Big Maude would be on that $5.00 chicken wing deal like ugly on a gorilla!

Warning reality check is needed by the OP!

Stop with saying you are sorry. it is good that you didn't. You're not missing anything.

Nope you are not. You are coming out and telling us what happened, that means you have strength.

Good for you to recognize this limitation. You're not missing out on anything.

Wow, I didn't know they still make 'burbs with diesels.

STOP IT. others should be saying that. not you.

Why? You got a good gig going, you are safer in the 'burb than you would be in a truck and you make your own hours.

Pay the loan off, take care of the vehicle and you will make more money at this than trucking.

I had a driver who was making $75k driving for me and one day he said "you know I think it is time for me to move on, sorry to give you short notice" then went into what he was doing. He bought a Lincoln hybrid and been making a lot more than $75k with lyft, uber and other services. He was so afraid I would be pissed off when he gave me such short notice but I was happy to see him move to something he would enjoy better, hell I even used him when I was in Atlanta to drive me around for the day.

I could save some money for house down payment, but I want to buy a house, and to do that I will have to drive a truck. There is no banks will give me a mortgage with this gig, we have way too many deductions and the banks will think that I don't make money.
Also I asked a local truck driver, he owns his truck, he told me he pays $20,000 every year for commercial insurance. So that is very tough, so I will be driving for a company.

I saw a huge accident 30 minutes ago on I-5 near Seatac, a truck had hit a small car, read it in the news. Maybe the truck driver was on prescription pain medicines like me :(
