There are very few things that happen make you undesirable to the majority of companies, 1 being abandoning a truck this won't sit right with a company and you take it personally and will carry to every company. Then there is undesirable from an insurance perspective who really controls what companies do even self they have their own in-house. 15mph is not just a number it means a reckless driver in many states this can lead to being arrested. No one wants a lawsuit slam dunk is someone's lawyer finds out they hired a driver who was given a ticket for 15+ it won't end well gotta think this from a business perspective.

Being a driver professionally isn't for a lot people why every year especially this time year the weakest get weeded out because they went and chose poor judgment. They played and lost and ended in a ditch at best or worst they slammed into another car killing them sliding unable to stop because they chose to drive. Dispatchers may tell you drive but if they fire you for unsafe working conditions they will have to rehire you later as long it was actually too dangerous to operate.
