Speeding ticket

I don't get how a speeding ticket will affect you. I got a Open Container/Arrested less than a year before I went to Road Masters... (20 at the time) Got a pre hire from Werner and spent 18 months there. GL

 

LOL....There's not a truck driver on this earth that makes $250k per year.

Lets be real... What would your rate be for hauling 3 Million Dollars in Freight Illegally...

If you get tired of overnight at ups or want something new then go to Island transport. Top pay is about 27 an hour plus full benefits. But ups is the best.

 

But what happens when the season is over?

 

As I see it, the OP had a moment in time where he thought he was a good enough driver to do 25 more than what was legal and what was safe for the existing conditions.

It only gets more complicated when you weigh 80,000 pounds, have limited visibility, and are in a place you have never been before, which happens quite often.

If the OP thinks he is still that good a driver under the tougher conditions, then he is mistaken. The screening rules that require certain aging on previous tickets, is because the employers want to see if he is still prone to momentary boneheadedness.

Go do anything else until you are mature enough to operate any other kind if vehicle safely for a few years in a row.

 

People need fuel year round. They give the owner ops the seasonal asphalt work and have us "starve" in the winter

 

UPS drivers do. Use your brain. The box truck drivers make 130k top pay. Thats class c. Add class a and otr yes they make that gross. You dont just walk into that gig. UPS drivers are fighting each other to thr death for the otr position. Its hard to get. My cousin drives for UPS, i know all about it.
