Does anyone know where to find the DOT, FMCSA or OSHA information regarding the requirement for us to carry a spill kit?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if it's a law. However, not having a spill kit can cost you big. Just imagine a line bust and before you notice it a couple of gallons of hydraulic fluid leaks out. A dealer is going to want it cleaned up. If you can't contain it you are going to pay for the cleaning.

I'm not saying we shouldn't have them. I have one. Just didn't know if it was a requirement or a good thing to have to keep from pissing a dealer off.

I don't think it's a requirement, my last company didn't have 1 but this one has a kit under the bunk
