It's closed westbound too in the Laramie and Cheyenne areas. I think the extra snow really hampered the efforts to reopen it.

They did turn the road cams off in the accident area.

I managed to catch one of the wrecker drivers, heading west at the 357 by Walmart this morning on the radio. He said he still had 5 trucks to pull out, and that was just at one accident scene.

They just closed it westbound at Pine Bluffs. What a disaster this is.

And closed at the Sisters eastbound. You can get as far as the TA there. This is ridiculous. I have to head out that way Sunday. I hope they get it together by then.

I'm supposed to come back through here tomorrow night. As long as I can get to Rollins, I will be ok.

and the weather isn't entirely to blame, the new breed, however, is.

the Loves is jammed solid, FJ not any better. Pure chaos is the word... the clean up is the biggest issue, but the weather turned to garbage again and 25 at Wyo Hill was a mess....

that area is elevated pretty high and not shielded from the wind at all. I can't see that getting as bad as the sisters, but I guess you never say never in this day and age.

just over a week ago I was dodging tornadoes in Illinois.I was supposed to go to Florida on Monday, but I wrecked my foot, and got stuck going out to Utah... Again... Story of my life this winter

this morning there were a lot of trucks and cars that went around the barricade West at the 357, that may have a lot to do with why they are shutting everything down

I thibk it has a lot to do with what you said, drivers going around barricades. It's probably backing up really bad too, and it's still snowing there.
