    So I'm sitting in Portland ME, been here since Saturday night. Great seafood town, walled around the pier downtown, had a great Sunday. Now for Monday.......

    This company, one dock joint, nice folks, a ceramic tile distributor. Their only forklift blows a hydraulic line, here we sit with 44k of grout. All 55# bags, so that's trucking. Not anybodies fault.

    I advised my fm, he sent me a message.....extra 150 for the trouble. I didn't even ask him for money, just sent him a message letting him know what's up. My guy is good!

    Thats a good fleet manager! My old one I'd have to pry teeth lol. My new one (just got on the fleet today along with new operations manager) I'm not sure about, only talked with once seemed nice... but overwhelmed due to just hopping in there and not knowing all the drivers.

    I wonder if they have time to get to know all the drivers. Kinda sounds like trial by fire.

    I sometimes feel like I bug my FM to much lol... Like my temp FM I had last week I would always message him if he could preplan me and stuff like that... but thats how I like to run, give me a load before I deliver my next one. Deletes the layover time :). Only talked to him on the phone once, the rest was via QC, I don't like being on hold and everytime I want to use my phone my bluetooth seems to be dead :(

    Another strange day. Home times deleted again? Delivered at 6 this morning recived a load around 14:00 to pick up at 8:00 that morning. Get there and 5 USA are turned away. Loads are cancelled.

    My home time is good, Todd does a good job with that. I don't ask
    about the pre plan, he's good about that too! This guy is proactive in every sense of the word, so I leave him to do his thing. He knows exactly that when my 10 is up I'm long gone!
