Most of the safety guys/gals I have met have been into the Kool Aid.

The only place for a DM to go besides 'out the door' when they burn out is to Recruiting or to Safety......

good to hear! Carlisle is actually not that small, it used to be a truck stop some years back. 8 speed....well its better than 5. Just remember to let your RPM's drop about 1/2 a RPM more than you would with a 10 speed. Just do your job the best you can, be safe and the only time you have do deal with safety is with randoms, and turning in your safety quizzes. 2 per quarter will help get you your bonus and 8 for the year to get your annual raise. Be safe!

OOperations personnel turnover is just as bad as driver turnover. Some new recruiters there too. Young guys mostly. Operations IS NOT INVINCIBLE. Believe me. They can be touched. Don't mean this like beat up, I mean, if you know your stuff, you CAN get a fleet manager fired. I know. I've done it.

in my 3 years with Knight, only 3 people are original from when I started back in 09'. All the rest are new or transfer. Its sad really that driver turn over is just as bad as office turn over.

Debbie, Kevin (Asian guy), and.....Randy? Debbie and Kevin were the first two people hired by Knight when they started the Katy terminal, which BTW, was in a strip shopping center down the street on the corner of I-10. Good people but once you got out of Texas all they could do was smile and wave at you.

Got a question does knight use trippak scanners? I have one from central, but would need the current info for knight. Heading to orientation Monday. Rather use scanner then having to look for stupid yellow box. Like being in control of my Money.
