    The trick is to turn the heat down on the torch so it will just barely make a small puddle on the broken bolt. Leave the oxygen at 40 lbs. and the second it puddles up, hit the oxygen lever to clean the hole out.

    As long as the surrounding metal was not preheated, the torch won't touch it.

    I honestly don't have any idea what i set the gauges to. I just play with them and the torch knobs till the flame looks right for the task at hand.

    No more than 5 to 7 lbs on the acetylene. At 15 psi or higher it becomes very unstable and can go kaboom.

    In addition, if you're trying to feed a large rosebud or tiger torch, you need more than one tank feeding into a manifold to avoid drawing off acetone.

    I've rebuilt a few, but seriously for the price of the parts and screwing around cleaning that#### up it's just as cheap to buy one with a warrantee
