Starting at Schneider

Ok, I didn’t realize there were so many places Schneider had drivers park the trucks. I think I live close by a few dedicated accounts.

 

Yesterday was awesome! Thank you my friend. I’m eager to drive in Memphis and get some experience in heavier traffic. I think we’re doing that today.
I’m originally from the Deep South and now I’m missing home being down here. Ppl here are so nice! Wish my home OC was W. Memphis

 

Woke up this morning in the motel and started reading my Schneider manual. Roommate still asleep. I’m an early bird, always loved early mornings and COFFEE!! Dang, how long can this guy sleep?? Sleeping his day away. I’m on my 4th or 5th cup of coffee. Already ate breakfast at about 6am. I wish we had training today just to get some more knowledge in. It’s almost like all I want to do is get logged in, get a pre-trip in and hit the highway. I’ve always loved driving, no matter where I’m headed. In my brain I’m always thinking about “Windshield Time” and going somewhere I’ve never been before. I’m a Nomad at heart. My wife is the same way. She loves being on the go. Can’t wait for her to be able to go with me! My instructor is very cool, but he wants us to understand that safety is first and foremost. Coming from construction I understand that it has to be the top priority. I like the way GOAL is set up here. I’ll get out and GOAL 500x if I need to. The last thing I ever want to do is hit anything. I just can’t wait to get back in training on Monday. I’m ready to go!!

 

13:35 and this dude is Still asleep! Went to bed at 18:00 last night. I really don’t know how anyone can sleep that long. Said he was a trucker for Steven’s for a very short time. I’m thinking I’m getting the picture why. Just sayin’

 

Snoring like all get out!! So, at least I know he’s alive.

 

I would pull a prank but…. I’m not that kind of guy. The old shaving cream and feather to the nose prank. But then again, he might get a little upset about it. I don’t want to upset anyone, just the brain gas that hit my head.

 

LMAO!! Don’t know, I was out from about 18:30 up until about 05:00. He doesn’t talk much.
