Not all paper plates and bowls are made the same. I microwaved 2 scrambled eggs in a bowl this morning and they came out great! Had 2 strips of that Oscar Mayer bacon that’s pre-cooked too. Not bad, but that bacon is very expensive! I think my wife will be in the truck with me around the first weekend in April. The bank is going to foreclose on the house the last of April. I hate it, but there’s nothing more that we can do. We’ve got plans to stop at Walmart parking lots that allow trucks overnight. That way we can run in there and get whatever we need.
The plan now is to save all the money we can and buy a little old place around Grenada, Mississippi. I’m wondering if I can just transfer my CDL without taking the test all over again. I sure hope so! I know that the last time I transferred my Class E to Mississippi I had to go back down to a private license and then take the entire test all over again. That would suck!!

Live in the truck and can bank most of your pay. Hundreds or thousands of truckers and some married couples do this.
Gives them a chance to see the USA and find a nice place for a home someday.FullMetalJacket, austinmike, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Doesn’t matter if she is or not. It’s exactly how I feel about her. I just wish every married couple felt like this. Those who know me in real life know that I’m the same way online. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I’m the same. It’s sad others have to be one way in real life and another way online. I can only be me. I’m genuine and I’m told that’s a very rare thing today. Sad-FullMetalJacket, Albertaflatbed, austinmike and 2 others Thank this.

We want to see the country together for sure. We’ve already got a place to pick out for our home. Mississippi and Louisiana will always have our hearts. I’d love to save up enough to buy a place with cash and “retire” driving a truck. That’s kind of our dream. The problem is that I’m 60 next month and time isn’t on our side.FullMetalJacket, austinmike and Lonesome Thank this.

Age doesn’t have much of anything to do with it, keep your health good and you can work into your 80s if that’s what you want

austinmike, FullMetalJacket, Cherokee65 and 1 other person Thank this. -
That’d be awesome, unfortunately I’m not in really good health. I worried about passing the physical. I’m a heart patient, stage 3a PKD and a few other health issues. But, I did pass it!austinmike, FullMetalJacket and Speedy356 Thank this.

I’ll have to work until they pack dirt in my face, but that’s ok. At least I know where I’m going after that!

Tomorrow’s agenda… KC to Ohio on I-70. I plan on getting to sleep early tonight and get going kind of early so I can shut down early before all the spots are taken and I have to spend 2 hours looking for a spot. I don’t like being the last one in
