The smash up derby thing at the truck stops is mind blowing. I don't get it. I prefer rest areas but there are so few of them and they don't have fuel. Now some of the rest areas are getting so sketchy with America's most wanted skittering in and out of the bushes.

Hard to find any truckers today who speak English. Sad fact! Many are here driving with no skills. Many can’t back in without hitting everything in their wake. It’s crazy. I just wonder at times what the next “event” will be and wonder if certain people are planning it from within the trucking industry. It wouldn’t be hard for them to organize it and carry out something awful. It concerns me very much. Too many from other places in control of massive machines. I just thought about this… I waved “Hi” to a guy beside me at this TA, it was with my left hand and he didn’t look happy. It just dawned on me that it’s very offensive to wave to someone with your left hand because that’s the hand they, well, wipe with.
Yeah, he’s not happy right now. Oh well, they’re here and they better get over it.

Americans are offended when they go to the men's room to rinse their face, brush their teeth, and there's some guy standing in the sink washing his feet. If you haven't seen that yet, you will soon. If they can do that, then we can wave with our left hand.
