Don't stress out over it.....
Keep copies of the relevant paperwork handy -- & explain this "glitch"...to Schneider when you get there.
If/when your story checks out -- you should be good from there.
Also -- note that Schneider is NOT the only game in town of its kind.
There IS other opportunity out there....if you know where (else) to look....![]()

Okay, I’ll try helping you out but need to clear up some confusion I’m having..
Are you unable to sign up with the clearinghouse because the system doesn’t recognize your MO CDL number?
Driving records will be obtained by Schneider not by you..other than signing a release.
Clearinghouse will be Checked by Schneider.. You need to be signed up in the clearinghouse so you can allow Schneider to see your information. This is very important because if they are unable to check you out then you aren’t going anywhere..Cherokee65 Thanks this. -
Thank you very much!! I appreciate your help!

I’m signed up in the clearinghouse. The only issue I’m having is getting my license verified through the clearinghouse. I’ve got my driving record printed out by the DMV here in Missouri. And it’s pretty clean, well… I did get my license suspended back in 1989 but it was for no insurance on my car and I had an accident. And I have 1 speeding ticket 7 years ago. That’s it, nothing else. The DMV here changed to a new computer system and software that isn’t communicating with the clearinghouse system so my license isn’t getting verified. Schneider is welcome to call the DMV here and get a printout. I don’t have anything to hide and I’m pretty much an open book.

Your driving record has nothing to do with the Clearinghouse.Cherokee65 Thanks this.

I kind of figured it didn’t other than the state sends information to the clearinghouse. I don’t drink any alcohol and I’ve never done drugs so I know there’s nothing at all on it.

Can you take your truck home on your days off at Schneider or do you have to leave them at a terminal?
-
I see Schneider rigs parked next to what are obviously the driver's residence....here & there.
So yeah....provided you can reliably get it in....then later get it back out (without a tow).....& the neighbors/city hall/zoning board are all cool with it.....then yeah, sure.
NOTE: This answer refers to the tractor, & a dry van trailer, or maybe an intermodal trailer (keep those trailers padlocked!). However -- Schneider will probably feel differently about a tank trailer (especially if it's for hazmat). In a case like that -- inquire within, b4 taking such a trailer home.

No, so long as it's a safe place to park (truckstop, whatnot). They'll probably ask you where you plan to park. So, be prepared.Cherokee65 Thanks this.

Jefferson City, Mo has a brand new Breaktime truck stop with Cat Scales on Militia Drive on the east end of Jefferson City. That’s where I plan to park, locked up all the way around of course. Trailer locked and release lever locked.
