The state of Misery better remove their heads from their @##. The new state system can’t communicate with the clearinghouse system. My license can’t get verified…. So- well, no job on Monday. Recruiter said safety has to be able to verify before they can hire me. It looks like we’re going to lose our car and home if I can’t get this cleared up. 40 applications in for everything from a cashier at DG to forklift operator in a warehouse and No response from anyone. Even with all my experience I still can’t find a job. The recruiter said that we will try again next week if the clearinghouse and state gets its act together. If not by next week we’ll be homeless and without a car. We need prayers, if you don’t mind please.

    Lonesome and Rugerfan Thank this.

If Schneider won't work with you to resolve an internet software glitch (I'm assuming you captured a page on the Clearinghouse website, showing where you attempted to register -- or even took a pic of the confirmation status page)....then now may be another chance for you to turn failure into success....

Did you ever submit a completed application to Western Dairy Transport:

    https://www.wdtmilk.com/driver-academies

Their main driver academy/training facility is in Cabool, MO....about 125 - 130 miles from you.

They hire & train complete rookies.

With them -- you would start off doing food-grade tanker.

Doing tanker work would offer you a number of advantages -- right from the get-go

I haven’t yet. I was told by the CDL school that Opie’s Transport, (milk tankers), in Eldon, Mo likes to hire younger drivers because they can climb up on top of the tankers. I’m 60 with bad knees and tankers might not be a good fit for me. That came from Doyle Clement. I was just told by my wife that the Clearinghouse Rule II might be the issue. The Clearinghouse is changing their rules and their software and it’s thrown a wrench into everything. Just my luck-

Even with Schneider...doing dry van (or intermodal) duty....you would be (on occasion, anyway)...climbing up into the back of the trailer...to inspect &/or clean it out.

With bad knees....that might well be a sucky world.

The thinking here is....if you can climb up into the cab of a tractor....it's not much further to do the ladder on a tank.

Also....tanker duty would set you up for....

    "mo money"....$$$$$$$. :D

When did you actually receive your CDL from the DMV..I’m not asking for the date you passed the skills test..

When did you first try registering with the fmcsa clearinghouse. Actual date no guessing.

Don’t bother trying to get hired on with someone else at this time. You’ll just run into the same wall.

This is the response I got from the clearinghouse. And now we wait until I’m just skeletal remains. I can’t wait on the government to get anything done.

Ok! I’ll give them a call and see if they have anything available. I wonder if they could hire me without going through the clearinghouse??

Got my actual license on 12/27/24. I got registered with the clearinghouse about the second week of December.

No one can hire you until your clearinghouse becomes active. There are no work around solutions.

I wonder if I could delete my info on the clearinghouse and register again and then see if it will verify my license??
