    1. There is no gas
    2. Do you know what a clutch brake is?
    3. Don't give advice if you don't know what you are talking about.

To the OP, if you are in the correct gear, you should be able to let the clutch out slowly with no fuel added. When you feel the tug, release your brake and the truck will walk....add fuel and shift away....use a lower gear until you get the hang of it. Starting on a high grade is always a poa.

Thanks I will try that I just need practice but it sounds easy enough after you get the hang of it

How's your shiftging once you get going? Usually I start off in second gear, depending on how steep the hill is, just to build some momentum because that tach will drop real quick on you, and if you miss a gear, it's back to the beginning again.

Start in the lowest gear necessary to get the truck moving with zero throttle. In your 13 speed try starting on low on a hill when loaded and 1st when loaded but on flat ground. When I first started out I had trouble taking off until I learned that it takes a couple of seconds for the breaks to totally release. I was trying to rush it.

The correct answer for 13 speed is to start off in LO gear. Build momentum in 2nd gear? There's a hill I ascend once in a while loaded, so steep you'd have to climb halfway up in LO gear. I have my reasons for using this hill lol, super secret.

Try putting the trans in LO gear and slowly letting the clutch out, should not stall on you.

@scottied67 a guy I know told me he never used that gear so I should not use it either thats why I never did. Most people I talk to start in 2nd or 3rd when loaded and sometimes 3rd or 4th when empty

OP, you'll get the hang of it, just keep at it. Every truck is different. Some will take off in 3rd when loaded without slipping the clutch too awful much, but I still don't do it (unless I'm on a pretty good downhill). You just have to work by feel. The truck will let you know if you're doing it wrong. If it's smooth when you let off the clutch, then you did good. If it's bucking like a bronc, you need to grab a lower gear. Not much different than driving a standard car or pickup. If
