I feel bad the newbies that get bad trainers. That is why I became a trainer with swift when I worked for them. I always bought my students a cb or cooler, I gave them a choice. Hopefully stevens will let me train there. Of course there are the occasional students that are horrible and think they know it all. :biggrin_2559: So not not looking forward to greyhound to dallas from WV but looking forward to getting back on the road again though.

Welcome back to the road Jarhead... they will let you train, usually after a year maybe less in your Case, but they will eventually.

Thank you much, I just hope they dnt give me crap about my back surgery last year, I feel great and I also had a cdl physical and passed it. I m not going to lie about anything, honesty is always the best policy I think.

I had surgery 3 months before I came to Stevens, had three hernias repaired, I think I was only in the hospital 4 days, nothing major, but I brought a discharge summary and am operative report from my surgeon to give to the Dr at Stevens so there would be no question or misunderstandings.

Thanks again kmac, Ill bring what paperwork I have from my surgery. I heard that they might send me out for extra testing because of my back surgery and that I have to pay out of pocket for it, but I dnt believe everything on here though being I have been around the industry long enough. Hopefully I do well on the road test so I dnt gotta go with a trainer since I have been out for a year and a half.

I'm not sure, but I think everyone goes with a trainer, regardless of driving experience, to learn Stevens procedures, protocols, and policies. I could be wrong. But I think you will, at least for the OR2 portion...

    Emulsified Thanks this.
