Stating CDL school C1 in Indy IN 7/26th

Thats cool drive safe tomorrow! Make sure you really read the cdl and do e-gears you will be testing tuseday at the DMV you have to do the IN and Genral knowlage, air breaks, and combo if you fail you can go back the next day to take it again! Still have one person who can not pass the Genral knowlage test!

 

Well its SAT morning up and studing Pre-trip going to spend about 3 hours this morning at school and then another 3 hours this evening going over pre trip and 4 point break check, have the 4 point down but have to get all the wording right. Have a good one all and drive safe!

 

Well Monday over in my 2nd week we got to drive yesterday! Did ok with straight backing and only one pull up on off side backing then it was off to the streets! I was the 2nd to drive in our group to drive! Did alright for the first time i guess but my first problem was could not get it into 8th when i was down shifting and instrutor was saying 8th 8th and making me nervouse and the second boo boo was slowing down for a light and for got to push in the clutch opps stalled it out but other than that went ok over my nervousness now only my first day driving back at it today!

 

Well day 2 I got to parrele park today in the rain! Had a brain fart or a blond moment when my instructor told me to close the gap at the daddy cone! I said not even thinking ummmmmmm Jackie what does that mean close the gap stuipd question! after I said it it kicked in! Duhhhhhh. well I did it with 3 get outs! Then after lunch we went to the road to drive seen downtown indy then my turn to drive I know my shifting pattern and know my recovery and it was like that I never been in a truck very bad day with the gears! Think I have the seat to far up not comfortable my back is killing me tonight just got to keep watching the tac and keep my foot off the clutch and do it right and just let it flow! Have not hit anything ran over a curve just fumbling over the double clutching! Well tomorrow is another day be driving all day! Let ya know how it goes!
