I did Indy C-1 # Indy(See one you see 'em all...). Good school, good state. I rode my BMW motorcycle there and this was March 13, 2004. they kept me an extra week in school, but I passed Tndy test on first try. A guy in class that everyone thought was a super trucker (they called him OJ- 'cause he looked like him) failed the state test at least five times. After the third failure you pay the fee, and it aint cheap... That's my assigned truck, grab yourself a piece of upholstery to place on driver's seat, cause it'll stink... Direct deposit your pay, otherwise your on your own... kinda cool hauling beer, paper, liquids...

See ya in Van Buren.
Gotta watch those right hand turns on your road test. A guy in my class passed everything until the end. The business yard has rail access in Ft Wayne. The tracks are across the entrance parallel with the street. A train went by and trucks piled up there waiting. After the train went by a driver backed a little so he could pull in. He was auto failed for impeding.
hear ya there I am just gonna take my time and not impead traffic make sure everything is ok before making my turn
Thats a tough turn on Subway, but take it slow, and if at all possible take it in 3rd gear. Most everybody I know that struggled on that turn either tried to shift while turning or for some reason missed the gear. It is definitely a wide turn so take your space, and then square it up. Good Luck on Monday! I meet up with my trainer on Tues either in Dayton or Vandalia to start my driver training. I have some advice for anyone going to Van Buren USA Truck orientation. Email me, I dont want to just advertise it in here. ~JohnC
