Speaking of guns, I recently purchased my first LWRC AR. spiral barrel and piston driven. Went out today and went at it. I took some pics I could probably post if someone wanted to see it. Wow is all I can say. They are amazing.

LOL! I see you're tracking my every move! Hell of a mod tool.

Should I go to my proxy for anonymity?

I was out for a while and have a ton of emails etc etc. I did not say Employment laws was actually IN the document. I said the authority to MAKE the employment laws was. a priori.

Yep! I'm the same way. At the very least I'll use a Serpa holster, but usually its a level 2 retention holster for outside the pants. Glock 17.

I'd say you don't have much to worry about as long as you stay out of truck stops in big cities. Most big city truck stops aren't in the best part of town and attract lowlifes. If somebody manages to get the drop on you while you are sleeping, there's not much you'll be able to do to defend yourself.

I'd still go armed, even if it was against company policy. I'll obey the law when needed but I couldn't care less what the company says, it's not like they would know anyway unless you had to use it.

I love my Glock 17 and they get a bad rap because of how overrated (imo) the glock 19 is. I never understood why so many get hung up on the 19, and I have two of them. I prefer my 17, and carry my 23. I mean, with a 23 I have conversion barrels, so if I want a glock 19 all I do is slide in my 9mm barrel. Bam, an instant glock 19. If I want a .357, I slide in my barrel for it. Bam! My 23 now becomes a sig .357

The glock 17, for accuracy and comfort, is very hard to beat. The original gaston glock.

Yep! Can't beat Glock 17. Its the first pistol I ever had and my EDC go-to. People complain that its too big to carry, but I've trained and practiced with it for so long, I really don't even notice it much.

Yea that's what they say, but I've never had an issue, especially if you carry outside the waist and not concealed. When I conceal carry I use my 23, but that's just because I like the .40 caliber, although, it's tough to beat a 9mm for price and effectiveness.

And also, the 17 is by far the most accurate glock on the market. I don't even see a debate there, and I've been shooting glocks over 20 years, competition and other.

One of the tactics the thieves use is to spray either or some other noxious chemical in your vent....or simply smoke you out to get you to open your doors.

Stay somewhere safe....there can be strength in numbers with us. This is a different world out here now. Its not a matter of being fearful....but being vigilant and using common sense. If you dont know an area or are unfamiliar with it......stay at a truck stop etc.

I know a a lot of drivers have Rambo syndrome and think they can take on a gang of thugs in an empty parking lot or turn their truck into Fire Base Gloria.

Use common sense. Also talk to the shipper or receiver there...they usually have good insight to the type of area you are going into. Irregardless......be safe and use common sense. Wanna play Mad Max ......more power to you. PS make sure you have a good lawyer and a trash bag full of bail money when you do.
