I love my Webasto Airtop 2000 bunk heater. It's been fussy, but it's awesome. I guess these powerful little units are used in a lot of applications, ships, airplanes, trucks and trailers, so on. They burn diesel, use some battery, but very low cost operation and really, really good heaters. A new one costs about $2K, and there's an installation involved.

My company had them but got rid of them because drivers weren't checking the oil and burning them up. So there went the saving money part.

Indoor safe. I think there talking about your hunting blind or fishing shanty. Have three different smoke o2 sensors in my travel trailer and don't take much to set one off if windows are closed.

Has anyone used a 12 volt heated blanket?

Looked up some ideas on the u tube trick and tried one myself. Last night it got down to 4 degrees. Keep in mind my bunk heater is inop and i was still comfortable in the morning. Just very lucky the truck still started in the morning.

    Chewy352, roadmap65 and rocknroll81 Thank this.
