    We hauled just one.

A bonded warehouse in Nevada had a truck load for wife and I as a team.

Everything was taken care of in a atmosphere of absolute quiet. Bright red cherries on the stem. A whole 53 full of it.

You think the English Crown Jewels would be some cheap tourist bauble the way they treated those Cherries.

Just the one load. Perfect all the way despite threats and so on.

I have been around felons since school. We had 4 of 22.

Ive hired them to do trailers for cash. No problems generally. Some were really big and able to do the work easily, those Whitehouse Winchester Vinegar in gallon glass bottles come to mind. They make a good living.

Once in a great while in a particularly dangerous section of a city, they provide a form of body gaurd with me to the store or something so the locals don't mess with us.

Nothing but good things, with a couple of aberrations. One was in Jackson TN at the old 76 there, he chased my spouse into our cab and then invaded same. Spouse balled into the pax corner almost out of options except one. I woke up going from sleep to essentially taking his life in a few moments, he ran away to save himself.

You never know. I told that spouse in training never to pull that far down towards the old parking space in that truckstop. Well she went and did so. And here we are.

As a side note, from that day forward whatever one of us said not do, it's not do. lolz. Should have been that way from the beginning. Hopefully he tried to get someone else and got caught. I check the rolls of Offenders in the TN webpage now and then out of curiosity. We'll see.

And Federally Protected, Woe betie those who harm a feather on it.

Ive got a paper offhand about 40 seagulls destroying a motel over some food left behind. I'll have to see if I can find it.

being robbed is a possibility Oakland, NJ,NYC at night some these places you don't want to stop for long.

As for the trucker shortage, people say there is and others say they're not, I am at the conclusion from working at a mega carrier seeing certain trucks stay at a terminal for a full year and it's wheels never moved. nothing wrong with it just sitting there waiting for a driver. so ya no way it can be a driver shortage right? That all said it is no one's fault but the very same carriers who create the issues making drivers want to go elsewhere for more competitive pay.

I don't think the reason wages will ever go up despite there may be a shortage or not as long they overhead is being paid and they can find enough drivers to keep afloat they have no need increase pay.

Some these mega carriers have increased there starting pay just saw one that went from .40 to 47 cpm

That's not much if that's all they get I mean ya that's a lot more money over a course a year time. But detention,stop-off, breakdown, load, unload pay, even a safety bonus being a good driver or a reliable driver.

Odds are that the people that are going to steal a few pieces of frieght here or there are not felons... Just dumb folks.

Most the felons I know wouldnt risk a good job for a few electronics or a case of smokes. If they were to steal freight, you would spend months looking for the felon, truck, trailer, and the entire load of whatever they decided they could fence... Most likely booze, cigarettes, or some such thing. And if you did ever find it all, each part would be in a different location not tied to any other parts location.

Here in Arkansas we identified from time to time minimum hourly wage cashiers stealing approx a average of 12,000 dollars out of the register in one way or another. Embezzling. Now with today's digital, electronic technology and advanced bookkeeping etc it is not possible to engage in that activity and get away with it.

Several gas stations around here were a den of thieves. All of whom eventually went to DOC. (Dept of Corrections) which here in Arkansas is not the best.

Walmart attracts the lions share of thieves.
