I got stuck driving one truck with the steering wheel was a 180 degrees off, totally upside down it blocked half the gauges, ended up having to sit higher than I normally do so I could see the speedometer.
It steered fine but what a bunch of lazy mechanics to never straighten the steering wheel.

That is a very good point to remember. If the steering wheel is not aligned properly, you can have difficulty seeing some rather important dash instruments.

This could possibly be brought to the attention of the Safety department if you are a company driver, or operating under the authority of a company with a safety department.

Having to turn the wheel 30 degrees to see the oil pressure guage, or to see an ABS warning light... That could cause issues.

Definitely as a company driver I brought it up and they told me it is what it is.. In Alaska probably less than the lower 48 nobody really gives a crap, it's all about production.
one of the worst companies I ever seen in my life is Alaska industrial trucking in North Pole Alaska outside of Fairbanks. I was driving a truck for them that front end was about to fall out from under the truck, pulling double overloaded side dumps locally didn't have to go through the weigh stations. at the time I was a new guy so I just kept my mouth shut and did what they told me, but I remember driving across the company scale and seeing 164000 lb with double side dumps in a B-Train. If I would have got into an accident or killed somebody with that much of a overload they would have just hung me on the side of the road. A buddy of mine was hauling doubles down to cantwell Alaska and the DOT decided to inspect his truck, he ended up with two pages of violations now he has trouble finding a job. I'm totally different nowadays if there is a safety problem and the company don't want to fix it I just tell them see you wouldn't want to be you and find another job. it's not worth wrecking your driving career over a bunch of cheap low life outfits.

That's why I said a company with a safety department! If a company has a 'safety department' (note the quotes) instead of a Safety Department, then you pretty much have to deal with it yourself, one way or another.

Yeah that company was so unsafe I had several drivers from other companies I worked with on highway jobs that told me to call the Dot and explain to them the situation and have them come and inspect the truck make it look like a spot check and get it red flagged so they would have no choice but to fix it. But I'm not that devious of a person.

Just to illustrate what a piece of crap this truck was I have a picture of it from when I was belly dumping before I started pulling double side dumps. Only thing it was missing was the Sanford and son logo on the door.

LOL Your right, I meant to say, the truck don't look that bad from the picture except for the dent "someone put in it".
