It's what CEO's and company executives get. Not drivers.

I "plugged in" (an air traffic controller phrase) with my DM for two hours long ago and, as experienced as I am in many areas, I decided right then that doing that was NOT going to be in my future. I am impressed that Emil and other drivers have made the transition.

you dont have to begin it by 1900, you have to begin it by 0100 for it to only take 34 hrs

Its amazing how many drivers are confused and in panic over the new reset rules. I was asked by a driver this morning if it was true the new laws were gonna mandate no trucks on the road between 0100 & 0600... Others are convinced they are required to take a weekly reset...

1900 is the earliest you can begin and still finish it in just 34 hrs....

1900 to 1900 is 24 hrs, ten more will be 0500 making 34. Any earlier and it will take more than 34 hrs to do the reset because of the two overnight provisions.

0100 is the latest you can start is and complete it in 34 hrs. That one would end 34 hrs later at 1100.

I like to get up and start running as early as possible so Intend to look at things from that perspective...

Essentially we have a 6 hr window to begin it and complete it in 34... from 1900 - 0100

So after hearing the horror stories about JBS Greeley, I am getting to experience it first hand. Got here yesterday morning with a DLD of 0930 so I was not expecting then load to be ready, and it wasn't. Got the call it was ready at 0910... no problem, two drops in New York so there was time... I scaled it and too heavy. Took it back to be cut, gave it to them around 1120... It is now 1600 and I am still waiting on the load... remove 1000 lbs, how hard can that be?

I think OTD is now going to be in jeopardy at the first stop anyway. 0430 Monday so only 60 1/2 hrs away with 30 hrs of breaks needed and of course the PTI and fuel stops.

I'll get there when I get there I guess.

The Greeley Stories appear to be true LOL

Doing a repower in Davenport. Meat load, so 43,000 +, pick it up with 1/4 tank on the reefer, the load was never scaled and his tandems in the 4th hole. Sheesh.

Ive only been there once. Had to get a washout just a couple of miles away and bobtailed into town and had lunch. I sat at a little truck stop for 2 or 3 hours and the load was ready. Wasnt too bad. Guess I caught them on a good day! :D There is a larger truck stop with cat scales. That place has good hot dogs!
