Make sure you get it in writing from Talent, he is the only one who can authorize.

Have spent the past few weeks laid up and lurking, it seems i forgot my password and was too lazy to get it reset. This is a good thing, because i may have posted the things i mumbled as i was reading the past few pages.

Finally got released to work, many keystone kop moments later, after a call to my dm essentially saying in my most MOTHER voice "dont make me come back there", on a quick run with a preplan to cover the weekend.

Pontification moment....Life is what you make of it. If all you can do is whine, complain or tear others down to help yourself feel better, all youll get is sadness, disappointment and disillusionment. Negative people always spend so much energy pointing out the flaws in others. Grow up already. Geez.
    Moment over.

Swiff, it doesn't matter where you start.
    Just start.
Each company has it's good points, each it's less than good.
but no matter where you start, you'll be complaining about something.
Both companies do a good job of training, both are financially stable and both will get you started in your trucking career.
Just be prepared to learn, suck it up when things don't go your way and commit to doing a good job.
My older brother drove for and retired from Schneider. I drove for Stevens. Both us drove for other companies as well.
Once, just for fun, we wrote our list of complaints and compared them. Other than the handwriting, you couldn't tell the difference.
It's what you make of it.

Been trying to get a load to Florida for awhile now and this is what then told me just now.
"I can repower you with an empty in Amarillo and you can sit in Liberal KS until Friday."

I'm starting to believe those rumors now that Florida drivers aren't getting Florida loads.

well they got me home to FL it was about 4 days late, but, it worked out that I was able to spend the 4th of July at the house.
I was out over 8 weeks though, not sure if that had anything to do with it. Had to give up the first load that was supposed to get me home, Just couldn't deliver it on time, repowered on load to Ohio, then managed a load out of Ohio to Arcadia.

Well Buzzards, this bird's flown the coop. I've accepted a job with Melton. I'll be around. Be safe out there.
