I called road rescue and the told me to just pump the primer and then try to start it... they said it may take a few tries... I pumped it maybe fifty times and it fired up. In guess I got lucky...
And Corporal.can stand on the cat walk... that should put him eye level![]()

I picked up a trailer once that was so low on fuel it ran out just before I got to the ts to fill it and hit the cat scale.
I borrowed a wrench from the shop and was trying to prime the system (to no avail). The shop was empty and the techs were bored, so bored I must have looked like a form of entertainment, because they were watching me.
Finally the tech I was borrowing the wrench from came over and asked if I had run out of fuel. I said yes, and he said he had a trick. He had me close the bleed nut, and he pulled out a fuel cap with a tire valve stem on it. He put that on the tank, pressurized the system a bit, and told me to start the reefer. It fired right up...Roknric and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
As bad as Stevems botched getting me home when I needed to be there last time, they have accommodated me completely this time. Kudos and thanks. The only thing is losing a good bit of miles and sitting and waiting on specific loads, but what are you gonna do? I need to be in a certain place on a certain date, so I take the loads that get me there.
nascarchuck, msa and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
Hey everyone....new guy here, just finished my first 11 days out with my trainer, just checked into a hotel outside Little Rock for 3 days because my trainer had schedule home time, Stevens is picking up the tab for it because they knew about it before they put me on his truck. Only the second spot I've had decent internet for weeks.
It's crazy as heck out here, been a definite eye opener. Crazy drivers, Crazy pedestrians,Crazy city streets, Crazy things to see, Crazy things heard over cb, Crazy people at Truck Stops, crazy people at shipper/receivers, Crazy food......CRAZY.
Lots of stuff to get used to, so musch so I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it all.....
Getting adjusted to different sleep schedules has been the hardest thing so far, can't wait to see what its like when we start doing team.......

Hey Numbers... Welcome. I know the KofP area somewhat. I used to be a pretty regular attendee at the Super Pool and Billiards Expo at the convention center before it turned Casino.
I keep meaning to go back there and see if the Gino Giant is anything like I remember fromy youth. -
That casino sucks...you have to pay a $10 to even walk in there and its so dang small.
and nothing...i mean nothing is as you remember it from your youth.....nothing. -
