Yes, get off the box, you overreacted big time. Stevens (nor DOT) make any allowance for a non fasting blood sugar reading. This is straight from the nurse. If you eat and your blood sugar is outside the range they fail you. No ands, ifs or buts. Next time try asking before jumping.

Well I am not buying the idea that they don't punish people who don't start training. Ever since I turned them down my miles seem to drop off every other week or so. I am looking at my lowest milage week ever. I have been stuck dinking and dunking up and down this East Coast for the last month. I have not been west of the Appalachians since the first week of Sept. I have not been west of the Rockies since June.
If I wanted to run East Coast Regional I can make a lot more money with other companies that specialize in it.
WTF? I am getting so God ###### tired of this :crap I am ready to nsend i na repower request before I even pick this next load up. 4 days, 800 miles... Bullcrap. I am tempted to go about 200 miles out of route and just go home for the weekend and. I just came off hometime Tuesday.flue and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
Its not just you.

Miles have been low for a lot of drivers lately. Not anyone being picked on. However this last week we booked more loads than we could handle so we were struggling like a big dog to get them covered. A lot of you saw load assignments coming to you anywhere from a day late to three days late. The word came down from on high (the second floor), "Get these drivers moving!"
So you should be seeing some increased miles soon. -
Well im going to snit about this anyway, even knowing how it works and what tends to be happening....
Apparently we are getting a load going to cali in order to repower with a late load coming out of cali to maybe get back to Dallas sometime.
What boggles my mind is how many times i have heard from various driver friends that dispatch is saying theres nothing anywhere except this crap load even a D&D team would have too much time on, and how miles have been poop all across the board but now theres loads that are DAYS late for pickup?
Absolutely no offense to you Emulsified, but it sounds like the load planners and dispatch and DMs need to pull their collective heads out of their rears and start doin their jobs properly instead of flocking off and screwing us on the road around.TRKRSHONEY and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
Flue, I gotta tell you... I am noticing a distinct change in the tone of some of your posts. They seem to have gone from Rah Rah Buck up Boys, to WTF is going on now?
LOL, it's a natural progression I assure you, but as in most things you seem to have picked it up pretty quick LOL.Corporal_Clegg and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
Well the last time I left you all, I was taking a few days off in Southern Oregon, checking out some real estate and thinking of retiring.
Well I bought a piece of land, close to the shore, but high enough to withstand most tsunamis.
Next will be finding a manufactured home or modular or whatever.
I'm thinking of seriously of pulling the plug this next spring.
There's a golf course nearby, a good couple streams to fish, not to mention the ocean...
Retirement's beginning to look real.
I turn 67 next May.msa, Rattlebunny, flue and 5 others Thank this.
