    Notes to self:
Look into adding a truck and running a cdl training program
Also figure out how to cut pennies in half

    Other notes to self:
Look into out sourcing to mexico for a worker who will cut pennies in half all day for 25 cents an hour.

I'm not trying to dress anything up. It's terrible pay. No doubt about it. Just stating a fact is all...and making fun of the fact that they use their fleet as justification to pay low wages.

    Dna Mach Thanks this.

You could get it done in Viet Nam for 24.5 cents an hour

Good idea driver I like the way you're thinking about how to exploit people and the system and get rich on the backs honest people. But I slept on it and I think what I'll do is have company driver positions at a laughable wage. Then I can offer a lease purchase deal that way the l/p drivers can go in the hole and have to pay me to work. Then I can use the money I take from the l/p drivers to pay the company drivers. What do you think?

It's a well established and proven business model. There is no shortage of the ignorant and the desperate on who's backs the rich get richer.

That being said, my first driving job was with Stevens back in '09. I didn't go to their school for my cdl but I did get first rate OTR trainings there. They reimbursed every penny I paid for my independent cdl school in TN and I've never regretted starting my career there. They always treated my honestly and fairly, as a company driver, and ran me as many miles as I wanted to run. It's not the kind of place I would want to spend my entire career though. I was there almost two years and their emphasis on safety and compliance has served me well at all my subsequent jobs.

    nofreetime and flightwatch Thank this.
