Also, I bet @bumper Jack would feel pretty good if he could average 4 MPG. Your pickup ought to be at least double that.
You have a driver? I can't buy workers comp on myself.

In my state it’s not needed until 3 employees.

Go back and look at the edit. That's assuming all loaded miles, which we know isn't realistic. 75k is a realistic wage though.

No, I have it on myself, but I got it super cheap because my income is shared across multiple business 2 of them are on my work comp policy. I have to have it, if I get hurt, my fiancee would have to sell everything and then still find a job and take care of me. Reality is, I'm the breadwinner, we do well, but I'm looking at this business only and trying to figure out why TL freight is under $3/mi loaded nearly everywhere. I was getting that ten years ago when I drove for someone else, WTH is going on.

Hmmm, must be different in different states. I pay for my employees, but I and my wife are exempt and couldn't collect it on ourselves even if we wanted to pay it.

Happy to answer, this pickup has a twin disk rated for 1600 ft/lbs, South Bend if I remember correctly.

i think your take gone figures are wrong.
    you say after taxes.
    that money’s not all yours.
    It’s the trucks/businesses.

Michigan required me to have it or have a notarized waiver just to get my apportioned plate. So in this nasty (governor is a dumb-a) state I can get it. We also have ridiculous insurance costs due to the no fault.

I figured as much. G56 is a beautiful transmission, but no way a stock clutch is holding what you're laying down.
