Similar, but company driving. Single, 19 years old, didn't care where I went or how long it took, or take a month to run a circle.
Male and female at the stops were friendly and helpful. Lots of waitresses would guess where you were from by asking you to say something casual to them.
I alway lied and said OK, and they would say "I knew it, I just love that talk" so we could make some progress. Missed some things I wanted, but as said, got needs cared for. All the fun and independence been long gone from trucking; a lot like work release, not that I have any experience in that field.spindrift, Rideandrepair, Speedy356 and 1 other person Thank this. -
First time I saw it. I love it.
I get all my high school memories, with Bluetooth.
Can't beat that.
Sits right next to me in the truck.
That's a small one, if they ever make one those 50 lbs,
500 watt boom boxes we used to carry around with Bluetooth,
I'd be all over that.
When I take it home, everybody that sees it,
Wants it. They're throwbacks to the good ole days.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

When I started things were altogether different..
I guess I stood out because I had long blonde hair down to the middle of my back wore shorts and tennis shoes and a wife beater tee shirt most the time ( weather permitting) & cowboy hat I never really looked the part of a bull hauler so that alway was good for a conversion starter...
I miss those days.. I'll stay out 8 to 10 weeks at a time now during the busy seasons .. but it's altogether different nowRideandrepair and Speedy356 Thank this.
