2009 Cascadia DD15, 10 spd manual. Cruise control cuts out and will not set if you turn on headlamps, or wipers, or four ways. Other than that, cruise functions normally. Thoughts????

Plug in and change the parameters.

Take it in to the 'stealership'. They'll have to plug-in with their software to determine the problem. Otherwise you could just be throwing parts at it. Pay the extra $$$ and save yourself the headache.

    Yup, dealer set parameters.
My 2016 did that brand new.
At first I had dealer set it to disabled, but then the cruise didn’t work at all. Then had it set to four way flasher only. That did the trick. I figured if I had the 4 ways on , I probably had more important things to worry about than cruise control.
I forget the parameter, but had something todo with the MFC switch, cruise parameters. I have Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link Standard edition, but you need the Professional version to access it.

Used to not be an issue, but my days start anywhere from 03:30 to 05:00 now, plus winter is coming. Lots of time driving in the dark.

Maybe he needs to be better at it. Had our shop plug in and it was in there.

Oh, it was in there. He disabled it with the computer, but the truck didn’t listen.

I think another poster has the right idea. Leave it turned on for the four ways only.
