I am highly interested in becoming a driver. I do not have a CDL and am looking to hire on with a company that provides training. Here's the catch. I got a paraphernalia ticket back in March and it's all done and behind me and I can pass a drug screen. The problem I'm having is most of the companies I've contacted said that the ticket disqualifies me for 3 years, etc. Does anyone know of a company that would take me on?

Can you pass a hair follicle drug test test? Companies can check back 12 mos. on that.
Urine test only goes back 90 days.
Which state do you live in? Location is important so we know which companies to recommend that hire from your area.

Not yet I am about to go to school. I saw a post about someone saying Stevens Transport does hair follicle now? Dang..is there a way you can get this confirmed. I been clean for 6 months. I shaved my body like 4 times lol. I want to make sure I can get hired after cdl school. I am nervous..

I don't know, I also heard someone was popped recently on a hair follicle test for Stevens Transport.
Pretty sure Prime Inc. still does urine test.

Your body hair grows slower than the hair on your head. Even if they check 90 days on a follicle test, your body hair will show it as more recent since it grows slower. You want them to take it off your head if you can stay clean. Hair on your head averages 1/2 inch of growth a month, body hair maybe 1/4 if not less. They also do NOT test pubic hair because of the chance of contamination. However, you show up shaved everywhere, and you'll probably get turned down for a job since it looks suspicious.

Stevens does do hair follicle testing. Even though most claim they check 90 days (1 1/2 inches of hair), I dont see them shaving your scalp and measuring each strand, which means the assay can still show use in older hair strands. A lot of training companies are going follicle testing now. Swift, Knight, Steven's, etc. If youve been clean 6 months and dont want to risk getting popped for use, stick with a urine only company. And stay clean.

Stevens doesn't do hair follicle. My friend just went to their orientation. A lot of people like to lie about the drug test to scare people lol.
