Just a question. Does Stevens only have one place where they do orientation? I have heard of carriers doing different things depending on things like different places. Just because "your friend" was not asked to submit hair in no way says it is not asked for in some limited situationa.

 

Stevens orientation is in Dallas, Texas.
Upon completion of a truck driver training program, each student is required to attend orientation at Stevens Transport headquarters in Dallas, Texas – transportation will be provided. Stevens reimburses cdl school tuition, up to $7,500.00

 

I understand the webpage copy and paste. Honestly I don't care one way or another. I have seen conflicting information before. I would not go by anything said unless it is an actual representative of any carrier. I am going to again state I don't care either way. I don't go by what a "friend" talls someone as definitive. I rather see it official.

 

I am assuming that the tools to do drugs is a felony of some sort that's why it's on there three years.

Hair is a good capture of your system's exposure to anything going back almost a year. You might have to wait that long to get it out of your hair. He he he.

 

Stevens Transport may not require everyone to do hair, but they #### sure did for me, in addition to urine.

 

Steven's has only one real terminal. Military Parkway, in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All students and new drivers pass through that terminal. They are HIGHLY centralized.

 

Your post is not the only posts I have seen where drivers have said they were hair tested. This is why I said I don't go by 2nd handed information like a "friend said" I rather see it coming from an official source. Thank you for that other information.

 

My best friend just went through the orientation wtf???? Who cares what people say the truth is they dont hair test. He said no one in orientation took a hair test period. My friend would of bailed if they took his hair.

 

and the funny thing I been worried about this hair follicle testing for months now. I physically went to three different labs my self and spoke to them face to face. I told each lab that I have 100+ employees and I was looking into hair follicle test them. They told me everryyything about the hair follicle test. One lab told me they do hair testing for a large known trucking company..I ask them how far do they look back and they all said 90 days. A test thats longer than 90 days takes longer than a week and is really expensive and most companies dont want to pay 600 a test. Quest said if you trim your hair a few times you would pass a hair follicle around 5-6 months easily. They try to sell me a urine test with a hair follicle... . They said it can stay in your hair for years if you don't trim it. One young guy who takes the hair said to me anyone who fails after 5-6 months is either still smoking or did not trim their hair and he told me to watch out for employees who cheat the test because its possible. He said people come in smelling like laundry soap and thats a indicator..he said laundry soap works so be on the look out. Glad I found this out. SO ALL YOU STONERS just stay clean for 2 years just to make sure you can stay clean dont pull no EDIT
