Did an update get pushed to the tablet, i dont know what happened but was going down the road and i dont know when it happened but all the settings got wiped out, and the way you enter addresses changed, now it asks for house number before entering street name

 

works fine now w/ the new charger,thnx RM.I almost threw you out the window.

 

no everything got set to default, time map settings everything, the only thing readily different was the way addresses get entered, i did swipe up and did not see anything, i got it fixed back but kinda threw me for a loop for a bit

 

Speaking of Tablet updates, any word on map updates?

 

The oddest thing happened today...

I got in my truck after the weekend's freezing temperatures. I plugged in my GPS, and it took a few minutes to be able to start it. When it did, the graphics had all changed. I attached a pic of how it looks now.

I checked a few days ago that it had the most recent updates. I'm not sure if it somehow updated, or reverted to a previous version.

 

There are 3 graphics schemes in the settings. The one in your picture is called classic. So, though there is no way for anyone to know how yours got changed if that wasn't the one you were using, but if you press Menu / Preferences, the first item will show as "Skin Style" and you can change it there back to whichever one you want.

 

Oh ok... I don't think I changed anything, I think something got screwed up from the cold temperatures. It took a long time for the unit to acquire satellite signal when I finally got it to boot as well.Thanks.

 

Hey Mark, I may just be jumping the gun here but...I have the TND Tablet, and I haven't seen an update for ANYTHING for it in the last few months. I normally saw updates popping through maybe once or twice a month, and I assume they were for the construction updates and such. But I haven't seen any in a while. I'm wondering when was the last update that was sent to the tablets so I can see if I'm having a problem seeing the updates and have to reset something. Although I wouldent want to lose my mileage and stuff...

 

Right. I don't think you did either. I was telling you how to change it back in case you (or someone else reading this) didn't know.
