sweeping out reefer floors fast

I've thought about building or modifying a push broom to get down into the channels without binding up. If it can be stowed easily and does a decent job you may have something that most reefer drivers need from time to time. I won't use or carry a leaf blower (don't have the room to stow inside) And my company understands that the dirt/dust down in the channels doesn't come out with conventional brooms and pays for washouts when needed.

 

Doesnt this already exist? Ive seen a channeled push broom for a reefer at the Kenly 95 Petro. I considered buying one.

 

they all have the lousy handle that busts after 5 uses
my 18 volt leaf blower lays between passenger seat and passenger door always ready

 

I just cut notches in a broom.

 

Do you have a self propelled one? If I could last two minutes maybe my first wife would not have left me!

 

They already sell a broom that is designed to fit into the channels of a reefer trl !!!!! Also using a leaf blower is so much easier and you don't have to vlow everything on to the ground !!! The guy that blows everything on to the ground is the same guy who would sweep everything onto the ground

 

CORDLESS Leaf Blower is also handy in the Winter to get rid of snow in hard to reach places and as others have noted a REFFER BROOM is already on the market and this 1 is even patented

 

Good old fashion straw broom I need the exercise anyways lol
