This is what I’m talking about.
This trailer was dropped on our dock overnight empty. We need to load tires in it to ship out to South Carolina. Opened up the roll up and it looks like homeless people were living in it. Most likely it was picked up at Amazon down the road from us and dropped here. This one is cleaner than most.

We have to be the responsible adults in this chain and sweep it out for Amazon, Buster Brown, and the customer we are shipping too. Otherwise we look like we don’t care to our customer.

    Amazon shoulda swept it.
Buster B shoulda checked that it was done by them and swept it for us because it wasn’t.
But in the end. I will do it for everybody. Lol!

I certainly see evidence of careless forklift operators in the front wall. I keep load bars in the frontmost logistic post of my lift gate trailer to help prevent that.

Just charge more to haul the load so they can pay you for the cleanup....

Maybe you just took the load too cheap. :p

When you’re at the shipper do they strap/chain and tarp for you, since they are the ones getting paid? What about the receiver, do they undo all that the shipper did since they are getting paid? Come on, man!

cke, beastr123 and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

I always get paid when I’m at a shipper or receiver. I’ve looked and looked and have yet to find a trucking job that doesn’t have to go to a shipper and receiver.

Maybe one of those drivetrain testing trucks I see driving around in colorado with concrete blocks on their trailers?

Dude I had a forklift driver put oil dry on all 48 ft of my deck. I walked back and was like WTF why would you do that??! He said to prevent his forklift from spinning while he's trying to load me. I told him to sweep it off as I don't carry a broom and he wouldn't.

I ended up taking the load and hit a bad snow storm going across the Ohio pike. When I woke up there was about 8 inches of snow on my truck and I had to use some of the oil dry to get out of my parking spot haha blessing in disguise
