Maybe they wouldn't be in "a 911 situation when it comes to freight and cost savings" if they wouldn't haul for cheap rates.

So every time, so every pull up, then before they back again, they’re going to have to stop,,set brakes, send a message, and so on.

I wonder how badly Swift and all its affiliates are watering at the mouth for the whole automated truck thing. I bet that day can't come soon enough for them.

Macro 39 message is probably so safety can watch cameras to see if driver actually did a GOAL I don’t see many do that btw

I believe that this is an old policy that no one was enforcing. If I remember properly, a swift driver backed over a dock worker who was opening the trailer doors.

Heres a idea make it mandatory that every truck is team operated.. that way 1 tard can operate the truck .. the other tard can get their custy butt out and watch him spend 1 hour trying to back up with out hitting someone or something .. the truck stops would be alittle safer ...( maybe )
This is the result you get for trying to make truck drivers outa special needs people

Still won't stop drivers from backing thru a stop sign and blindly into an intersection like I saw happen a few years ago. Wasn't Swift in this case. The local driver ripped a pretty good strip off them.

Your right .. the smart thing to do would be make it Mandatory you are given a IQ test before being issued a CDL..
