West Valley, Utah. That's a good location for many decent trucking jobs.
Focus on finishing your contract and move on.

Bad mentors, students everywhere mega carriers have them for sure in spades
Rule #1 don't trust another driver expect he is gonna kill you with his bad habits.
Rule #2 won't be a mentor main reason see rule 1

Drivers, who drive bad in a car you think that's a automatic fix in getting CDL? I think not let's face it there's a lot bad truckers starts them pickup crap when they drove their personal car for years Can you teach them a new trick yes can you break them out there old habits no only they can that's the bottom line.
Drivers who think a trucker is bad because he does his GOAL is astonishing I myself still get out my truck my Uncle himself will get out has been driving since the early 70s when there's a tight spot you make sure you know what you getting yourself into. When I see people get out and look I see they tried and even if some reason they hit something still looks a lot better then someone pulls in setup and just shove it in tearing crap up and wonder what happened.
The person doing his best not to hit something one I would rather trust guy who thinks he owns it and wrecks my truck being dumb and lazy in fact I will try to help them if I see them struggle other day saw one person told him to aim that trailer as close to his side he can pull up and straighten it out didn't tell him anymore then that he got it in someone from CR England was trying back into a Walmart DC spot idk what training they gave him I felt sorry for the little they gave him should be a crime to company to release him on his own.

Taking a shower every day is good. Back when I was a trainer for a different company, they made us run team freight 1,200 miles in 24 hour. So getting a shower every day could be difficult. It was not all on the trainers controller. 5 days is pretty extreme

Walking inside truck seems ok but he should put seatbelt on if sitting in passanger seat

I told my students to drive the speed limit and they got made. Like when it was 55MPH in some States. I always rhoutho that was funny, I was trying help them avoid a ticket and they get made.

No reason to change student logs with two drivers on the truck you should have hours to burn in the log book

I would never stop on train track at a stop light that crazy.

Your not supposed to follow a truck into intersection if you can't see the light. Really you shouldn't at all because you can get stuck in the intersection

Unsecured stuff in the sleeper can be a problem if you ever slam on the brakes. Unless it clothes or pillows something like that.

Sleeping in top bunk and just driving around a parking lot not a big deal. If going down the road you can just hope down to the bottom bed

No sir. You have internet access. You have a phone. You say that you have friends that know of this situation. All that you would have to do is record and send to your friends. I am certain the right people would eventually see it. (Hint hint). Don’t be the helpless victim.

Take the opportunity to crush him like a ####roach. He should not be in a truck.

This right there is a fact. Not only in business but also in life. I have a large family we all get along great. Want to know why we don't discuss religion or politics when we get together. We have a big age range and way different beliefs. We don't discuss those topics because they can become very divisive. Therefore we are one BIG happy family.

This sounds like absolute hell and I am sorry this happened to you. Being compared to the cheeto is morbid and abusive.

The worst I have been compared to in regards to political figures is hilary clinton, in 1996. I stopped getting my hair cut and didn't comb it anymore. It did look like ####. Yet the guy calling me this all the time as I got off the bus to enter where I worked was from chitown so I think he was also telling me I looked butch. Which is still 1000% better than being compared to the cheeto.

I must say this while you are certainly in the right to be angry at least you gave life to your rant with humor.

I wish you the best of luck with your next mentor.

And my gawd I am already crafting a script that I can use as a way of enforcing boundaries with a mentor/trainer when my time comes to start driving.
