Just because the Mega Carriers say it is so, does not make it true. For most of us that have been around for long term, trainee 0 to 1 year rookie 1 to 4 years, 4 years up is an actual driver.

I have a 48 state map on the wall keep track of my sons first year at CRST and they dod for a fact get him thru every state, and Canada once. He also drove in almost every conceivable type of weather. And lived thru it.

He is now a rookie, no longer a trainee. In another couple of years he'll be an actual driver. Your no different, Rookie.

So that means I'm now considered an experienced driver?
    Cool.

I do agree that 1 year behind the wheel should still be considered a rookie, and not even close to a minimum to become a mentor.

    Powder Joints Thanks this.

Yes my 3 million or so miles, plus the miles of the drivers that have run before, All the Mega Carriers care about is profit and loss, they dont give a rats manuer maker about me, you or safety of the public, the Mega Carriers are who created the need for all the regulations drivers have not needed on the past. So yes experienced drivers with over a million miles out weigh the money interest of the Mega Carriers.

I still have drivers I have taught to driver over 10 years ago call me to ask advise, about things people in the office have no idea. So again yes experience, nothing like....

You to have made so I would like to take this time to add this conveyance to you as a OFFICIAL VETERAN OF THE ROAD, You are now a full fledged driver and entitled to all the rights, and benefits that are associated with this prestigious title. You are here by to be know as The One and Only Master Dog-c

Gods speed and be safe. Above all be safe. And keep a sense of humor, lifes to short to get too serious.
