I prefer live for that reason, everytime I get a nice reefer that I know won't give me much grief I get a drop and hook, I sense a conspiracy.

Swift Refrigerated will be about the same as Stevens, thier reefer side has a much longer average run than the dry side. Got a buddy that actually likes the reefer side of Swift. It fits him well. If those are your options I'd go with Swift, at least you can transfer divisions if you don't like hauling a certain type of freight.

Swift will be able to offer you more regional or dedicated runs if you decide you want to stick around home, depending on where you live, and even if you are otr they may send you to work on one of their accounts if they need help in that area. don't know much about stevens but it seems they are more otr runs. i would go wherever you will feel most comfortable and will have the least chance of getting frustrated and getting a ticket or having an accident, where your able to keep your record clean so after a yr or 2 you can get a driving job anywhere you choose.
