In my younger days, I've driven over solid ice, unpacked snow, blizzards and even drove through a freakin' tornado once. A truck's length isn't enough distance in normal driving conditions, much less rain, snow, ice, sleet, whatever. In that picture, if you're actually driving that close, and that truck suddenly stops due to a horrific accident, you are going to eat the ### end of that truck and there isn't a freakin' thing you are going to be able to do about it (cept' back off and get some distance before such a thing ever happens).

He said he was following 2 2.5 tuck trailer lengths he was safe in my opinion. I drive in stuff like that all the time, just keep your distance and no erratic motions. I had a 30 car pile up happen in front of me and behind me once cause people mashed there breaks instead of easing into them. Funniest thing I saw cars smashing eachother spinning like crazy. Ohh look its snowing lets go a hundred miles an hour then slam on the breaks!! lmao
