    I've helped out on a few of the dedicated, and I prefer to stay OTR.
    80% of the time I get hosed on pay.

    No, make that 100% of the time.
    The last time I worked the Target account I was paid fully, until the last paycheck when I went on home time.
    Those few days I didn't get paid for, except for base miles.
    And I wonder if my taking home time after being out for over a month seemed to them to be a betrayal on my part?

    I doubt it is different with most companies.
    They all try to cut corners and make that extra buck whenever they can.

    I know every single time I have picked up a truck rather it was mine or another on the fleet they were always locked and I had to go into the shop to get the key.

    It was at Lancaster, but it was Saturday the truck detailing crew job is to important to work weekends

    You should be raising hell to the terminal manager and the shop manager.
