I've helped out on a few of the dedicated, and I prefer to stay OTR. 80% of the time I get hosed on pay. No, make that 100% of the time. The last time I worked the Target account I was paid fully, until the last paycheck when I went on home time. Those few days I didn't get paid for, except for base miles. And I wonder if my taking home time after being out for over a month seemed to them to be a betrayal on my part? I doubt it is different with most companies. They all try to cut corners and make that extra buck whenever they can.
I know every single time I have picked up a truck rather it was mine or another on the fleet they were always locked and I had to go into the shop to get the key.
It was at Lancaster, but it was Saturday the truck detailing crew job is to important to work weekends
