    This.

I'd consider good regional before lots of local personally. There are lots of options to weigh.

A good union job would be worth considering.

Its not that I wouldn't consider a regional union job. I've been out of work for almost 12 weeks and have acquired well over $2,000 in debt to my family and my savings account is about drained and I do not have the willpower to ask my family to continue to support me; it's not fair to them, the union job is about 15-20 minutes away from me, so I will not have to pack bags and take a bus clear across the country; plus I have two amazing references within the company, and at my "interview" if you call it; she was happy to hear about my references, or so it seemed like it. My previous employment goes on for a while, I've had three jobs working under the table which puts huge unemployment gaps in my 10 years.

Melton Truck Lines out of Tulsa, Ok has offered me a job, but that also requires me to leave out of Ohio no later than Friday night to start orientation on Monday. I asked her about the physical requirements needed in order to pass the DOT Physical, she said they make you do a balance test with one leg raised in the air, plus I you are required to lift a 90lbs tarp from a squatting position onto the deck "FLAT BED HERE I COME" which will not be an issue for me, or so I'd like to think so. The training pay is $70 a day, orientation pay wasn't bad, and it's 8 days long, they cover room and board, two free meals a day, and carry BCBS, Dental, and Vision. They also offer a 401k and other benefits.
