Well I'm not a professional, so sometimes I float, sometimes bump the clutch to take the pressure off when taking it out of gear, sometimes a touch of clutch to slip it in to gear, sometimes full double clutch. Depends on how heavy, how soft the ground is, how steep the climb is, if I'm turning, etc. I don’t consciously think about it, my left foot just does it's own thing! Lol
I do not ride the clutch pedal, and try to keep my #### hand from resting on the shifter, but sometimes catch myself on that one, and then I have to take that metal edged ruler with my left hand and whack my right hand! -
