Tell her that she's never too young to pre trip, and that truck is missing a steer tire.

I have mentioned the YouTube excavator operator Letsdig18 has a fellow who moves his equipment for him, with a single owner 1968 Kenworth.

This video shows the Kenworth in action.

I have nothing to do with Letsdig18, or the truck owner. Just figured some folks might want to watch some old iron at work.

So. I am headed through Vail, CO today. Not pleased to do so, but the load started in Cedar City Utah, so it would be an extra 150 miles out of route to Lyndhurst, VA.

Stopped at the Loves in Salina, UT for fuel and saw these for sale. 9 apple, 4 banana, and 1 coconut. All 1.25 each. I like dried fruit, and snapped all of them up.

Now, the question is... how many of them will pop going through Vail?

Winter is still MIA this year.

I have KW T660 2010 Cummins. I bought the truck last year. I put so far 10K into repairs for it. I'm still afloat. That doesn't include the trailer. But I was more lucky with the trailer than the truck. How much do you usually spend on repairs for your truck? I still own money on the truck and the trailer.

My lifetime costs for the first 5 years of the truck was $0.04 a mile.

Shut down in Denver and amazingly, none of the chip bags popped.

Also, as you said, the weather was not bad at all. Pretty nice even. Roads were in very good condition for this time of year.

Winter has been mild but was not completely MIA this year. I got stuck in a sleet/snow storm in Amarillo TX in October this winter.
