Will need to add another week of income for that to be a 2 month average. My next weekly settlement will be for roughly 4000 miles, and there were no maintenance expendatures last week.
I also am unsure what my estimated tax will be. I have 4k set aside right now. Between perdiem and expenses, I am not sure how much I might be able to claw back.
Will provide updated numbers after first quarterly estimated taxes.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Wowsers! Add another 4k miles? Don't you take time off? LOLRideandrepair Thanks this.

Soon. My point was that your calculations considered fixed costs and averaged costs for a two month period, but income only from 1.75 months.

And my point is that you can run 27,279 miles in 2 mos without taking time off?

Your truck will have over a million miles on it before you know it! LOLFarmerbob1 and Eldiablo Thank this. -
How are you doing healthwise by not taking any time off?
I loved OTR but I love being healthy more.
Trucking lifestyle leads to higher diabetes riskFarmerbob1 Thanks this. -
I have taken days off at the beginning of January, and the beginning of February. I am heading home now for a couple days. I do spend time at home, and I am forced to take 34's every 5 or 6 days driving. So I get plenty of downtime.
The more miles you drive, the greater the percentage of your pay you keep, due to fixed costs.Rideandrepair and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
Atleast you are taking a smart approach. So many get in trouble and keep fighting. There reaches a point of no return.
I hope you have lots of success with your new adventure.Rideandrepair and Farmerbob1 Thank this.
