Well most of the time its best to find out about a company through its employees, trucking or otherwise. Not just by the forums either. Does swift even have a referral program or would it even matter? By the way, the ones I have talked to were not in the stores. What do you do, shout in the store, "who drives for swift". Its easier to catch them at the truck, you know who their with then.

I don't drive for Swift but do see where you're coming from. It's not just Swift being rude but every company you'll find rude drivers and some have good reasons some not so good.Like one member said, maybe out too long and ready to go home.Maybe the company as a whole makes them that way. Then many are just tired of trucking and the BS that goes with it.There's nothing you can do to try and get drivers to not be so rude.Just keep doing what you're doing and during your carreer you'll find happy drivers as well as rude.

I for one will talk to others, mostly when getting fuel or inside the truck stop. As far as someone comming up to my window, if during the day I will think about it. I have to admit, there are times that I will see other Swift drivers inside and they will not acknowledge another driver, and at times, they see my truck, know that I am L/O and will come up to me and ask how it is going and have questions, including drivers from other companies.

I enjoy talking to other Swift drivers, personally, outside of truck stops. Hate the negativity inside the truck stops...and endless sports banter. Typically though, most drivers approach me only when I am under an Uber tight schedule.

I am a LTL driver based out of Montana. I used to pick on Swift all the time cause they are rookies just like me... but some of their gear was governed slightly slower than mine. All carrier politics aside, I also enjoy talking to their drivers. I ran behind one last night from Billings through Three Forks Montana. I could have easily passed him and shaved off 15 minutes from my run, but I enjoyed chatting with him so much that I just throttled back and hung out behind him. Swift has alot of good guys. I am always happy to give them a route update since I patrol that I-90 corridor in Montana. If you ever see a slow moving Reddaway truck in Montana pulling doubles... Just ask for "roadrunner" or "snailtrail" (my winter-driving callsign). I will always help you guys out with as much info as I can. Godspeed, and safe travels to all of you!

As for the guy that I chatted with for two hours on the CB with... I wanted to say hello... but I was already past my 14 and my dispatcher was having a cow. If you ever read this, PM me. PS: Hope the corndogs at the Pilot Centre at the 276 exit didnt make you sick. Godspeed! I hope you will make it to your destination/home safely!
