Tattoo and piercing?

This is a good lesson for not getting face, neck, or hand tattoos. Doing so can limit some jobs. I have a few tattoos that I got while I was in the US Navy but they can be covered up.

 

This was in the information that was sent to me in my pre-hire orientation paperwork.

What I didn't get was anything about tattoo placement.

 

I have hand and neck tattoos. Got my own authority, my boss is ok with em'. Lmao

So I don't think the Tattoos are a problem as long as they are not tasteless. I think you'll be ok. I don't have any Piercings so that part didn't affect me. I would just talk with the recruiter.

 

If it doesn't work out for Maverick just ask yourself this like I did. I am who I am and not changing who I am for anybody! Now how do you view about that statement to yourself. Find that answer and you should be ok wherever you may go.

 

Maverick would want you to take it off even if you are on the road. The problem with gauges and piercing is that they can get caught on a bungee, strap hook, chain and rip right off. Maverick will show you pictures of people who were badly injury because of it. There's one when something got caught on a guys ring and rip the meat and skin off this finger.

As long as your not loading or loading, I don't see why you can't have it on, but when your working you should take them off.

 

I wander what those guys do who have they're ear lobes all stretched out?
