It seems to me that it might be difficult to do team driving with a CPAP machine without accidentally damaging the CPAP machine. When a team driver is trying to sleep with the CPAP machine on while his teammate is driving, if the trucker's teammate has to slam on the brakes, it could cause the CPAP machine to fall off the bed (or the table or whatever the CPAP machine is on) and get damaged when it hits the floor. And if a team driver sleeps on the top bunk while using the CPAP machine when the truck is parked, it seems to me like the CPAP machine would be vulnerable to the teammate accidentally bumping into the cord and causing the CPAP machine to fall off the top bunk and onto the floor, which would probably damage the CPAP machine as well.
Have any of you ever done team driving while using a CPAP machine?
If you have done team driving while using a CPAP machine before, how did that work out for you?

You've got too much time on your hands. This one is easy to answer and I submit the mods could close the thread after I do.
Secure the CPAP machine in some manner. Use your imagination and possibly some basic hand tools to accomplish this task.
Truck drivers should never sleep on the top bunk in a moving truck. That's one of the cardinal rules of trucking. It's a great way to get injured or killed.Crude Truckin', brian991219, tarmadilo and 8 others Thank this. -
Get a bottle of bungees at Walmart to secure the CPAP or anything else.

And no im not being a dick. When i teamed with my dad we both had a Cpap. Duct tape over one side to hold it down and that thing wont budge. And we only used duct tape because we werent allowed to use velcro since one of the other drivers was apparently allergic and we traded trucks a lot.
My current truck also has a cabnet where the top bunk is. If i was in your situation i would throw it in there, tape it down, and just get a longer hose. They sell them upto 16 foot long.Crude Truckin', lual, expedite_it and 1 other person Thank this. -
